First Work is offering members and their jobseekers an opportunity to bridge their skills gaps with a Google Career Certificate! First Work has partnered with Grow with Google Canada to help individuals get on the pathway to high-growth fields.
Learners will have an opportunity to bridge their skills gaps with access to FREE Google Career Certificates from April 1, 2026 until March 31, 2027. The Google Career Certificate Program is tailor-made to equip jobseekers with practical, job-ready skills essential for success in high-growth areas.
Important: First Work x Grow with Google program requires all learners to register through a First Work member.

How to Register Your Clients
1. Explore Job-Ready Certificates: As part of the Grow with Google initiative, we offer ten certificates that equip individuals with job-ready skills. These certificates, tailored to empower candidates for the workforce, cover a range of essential skills Job-ready skills you can put to work - Grow with Google - Grow with Google Canada.
2. Automatic Scholarship Issuance: As First Work member, your clients have the privilege of bypassing the standard application process for jobseekers. Instead, your team has the authority to identify eligible candidates directly. Please do NOT share the registration form with your clients.

What happens after a client is registered? Will clients and/or ECs receive a confirmation email?
Clients will receive an onboarding email from First Work and an invitation to join Coursera from ([email protected].)
They may need to also check their junk folder in case they don’t see the invitation in their inbox.
ECs will also receive a confirmation email from First Work once clients have been registered to the platform.

Will there be instructions for navigating the learning platform once registration is completed?
Yes, instructions will be provided in the onboarding email.
If clients require extra assistance, they can contact the Coursera Learner Help Centre.

Can we continue registering clients throughout the year, or is enrollment limited to specific periods?
Yes, you can register clients throughout the year. We will inform you if any changes occur, such as a waitlist being in place or when we are no longer accepting any new clients.

What type of technical support is available if clients encounter issues?
If clients require extra assistance, they can contact the Coursera Learner Help Centre.
If the issue cannot be solved with the help centre, they can contact [email protected] and we will reach out to the Coursera support team to troubleshoot the issue.

Is there any additional information or guidance we should be aware of to help clients successfully start and complete the training?
Please encourage them to enroll as soon as they receive their invitation and remind them that if they are inactive for over 90 days, they will risk losing their scholarship.
