Project Integrate: Exploring Future Employment Pathways
First Work: Ontario’s Youth Employment Network, working directly with employment service provider networks across Canada, is conducting systems research to support Project Integrate. The aim of these group consultations is to explore the enablers and constraints to the adoption of promising new technologies across Canada’s employment and training ecosystem.
Career paths are less predictable and today’s youth face significant challenges navigating the ever-changing world of work. This consultation for Project Integrate, spearheaded jointly by First Work, OTEC, MaRS Data Catalyst Centre and the Canadian Council for Youth Prosperity will test an innovative, evidence-based, approach to skills development for the new economy.
This engagement process will address one of Project Integrate’s Objectives – To conduct employment and training ecosystem analysis and identify features that support and/or inhibit system innovation. The consultation will be an opportunity to inform the ecosystem about Project Integrate and collect data on the tools and assessments currently being used and their value-add. This consultation process is part of a larger process which will incorporate voices from the employment and training ecosystem, employers, youth as well as leading national bodies.
We would be grateful for the valued input of Employers, which will further support the work we are doing to remove barriers for youth entering the workforce.
We are currently hosting two potential session, taking place December 3rd – session 1 (10:00 am – 12:00 pm) or session 2 (1:00 – 3:00pm). We look forward to hearing from you regarding your interest and availability to participate!
